Let’s Make Renovation Simple
Planning to renovate your home or garden?
You probably have many questions:
- How much will it cost?
- Which solution is best?
- Can the company handle the complete project?
- Will there be unexpected extra costs?
- Who will I contact if I have a question?
That is exactly why we created ALL-IN RENOVATIONS.
We are a Dutch renovation company with more than 10 years of experience. We help homeowners and expats renovate their homes and gardens without expensive intermediaries or complicated processes.
House & Garden Renovations
From a complete property renovation to one small improvement, we can take care of everything.
You can renovate your entire home and garden with us as one complete project, or complete it step by step according to your plans and budget.
A successful renovation is not only about choosing beautiful materials. The order of the work is just as important. Following the correct order saves money, prevents unnecessary demolition and protects completed areas from damage.
Plan Your Renovation in the Right Order
A successful renovation starts with the right plan. Our complete roadmap takes you through every stage in the correct order: technical upgrades first, house renovation from exterior to interior second, and garden renovation last. Whether you want to renovate everything at once or complete your project step by step, our practical recommendations will help you save time, control your budget and avoid unnecessary work.
1. Technical & Value-Boosting Upgrades
Whether you have just purchased a property or decided to renovate your current home, always begin with the technical condition of the building.
Completing these installations first prevents you from having to reopen finished walls, floors and ceilings later. It also reduces future repair costs, unexpected problems and the time spent arranging different specialists.
First, check which of the following upgrades your property needs:
- Plumbing and drainage
- Electrical installations
- Water and thermal insulation
- Underfloor heating, hot-water systems and heating installations
- Ventilation and moisture control
- Air-conditioning systems
- Solar panels
- Extensions and additional living spaces
- New rooms and partition walls
- Electric-vehicle charging stations
Not every property requires every upgrade. We review your situation, share our honest advice and help you decide what is necessary now and what can wait until later.
Once the technical foundation is correct, the visible renovation can begin safely.
2. House Renovations
For a clean and well-organised renovation, we normally complete the exterior before moving to the interior.
Start With the Exterior
The exterior protects everything inside your home. Roof, window, insulation or façade problems can damage newly completed interior work, so these areas should be handled first.
Our recommended exterior order is:
- Roof structure and repairs
- Dormer installation or other roof additions
- Roof insulation
- Roof tiles or roof covering
- Windows and exterior doors
- Façade renovation, insulation or cladding
- Exterior and architectural lighting
Once the house is properly protected from the outside, the interior renovation can begin.
Continue With the Interior
The order of an interior renovation is equally important. Working without a clear plan can quickly increase costs and damage areas that have already been completed.
Our recommended interior order is:
- Attic
- Balcony
- Living room
- Kitchen
- Bedrooms
- Bathroom and toilet
- Interior doors
- Hallway and staircase
We also consider how you will live in the property during the renovation.
For example, completing the attic first may give you a temporary living or sleeping space. Completing the living room early can also create a comfortable area while the remaining rooms are being renovated.
This step-by-step approach keeps the project clean, manageable and under your control.
3. Finish With the Garden
The garden is normally the final part of the renovation.
First, the area must be properly cleared and prepared. A beautiful garden will not remain beautiful for long if the drainage is poor or the ground underneath is unstable.
Our recommended garden order is:
- Complete clearing and removal work
- Outdoor electrical installations
- Water supply and drainage
- Ground preparation and stabilisation
- Paving, decking or other flooring
- Garden structures and finishing elements
Once this strong foundation is ready, almost anything can be added:
- Aluminium, timber or PVC veranda
- Garden room or storage building
- Outdoor kitchen and barbecue area
- Artificial or natural grass
- Fences and gates
- Pergola or terrace cover
- Outdoor lighting
- Custom planters and garden furniture
The possibilities are almost unlimited—but good drainage and a strong foundation must always come first.
